Maverick, age 2, is a star on the rise. Last year Maverick trained with the “race team” as a yearling and showed us that he may have the potential to fill his dad’s (Brock) booties someday. Maverick (and his brother Goose) are part of a split breeding with Ophelia from Atao Kennel. He is the father of a litter of puppies at Atao as well. Mav trained in lead with his papa last year and continues to spend a lot of time in the front of the team. He is still developing his confidence but he is eager to please and reminds us so much of this all-star dad. Even though he looks a lot like a lab, Mav is an ideal sled dog. He is medium sized, has a great coat, solid appetite and gets along with everyone. He is desperate to please his master and loves nothing more than being praised for his efforts.
